ABOUT ITZIAR<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a visual artist with twenty-five years of practice. I work in a number of mediums, but especially video, performance and photo. My practice is informed by my interest in Femdom, as a working fetish performer and producer since 2003. My work as a fetish producer was subjected to censorship by the UK online content regulator and became the subject of my PhD, completed in 2013. These other interests often cross over into my artistic practice to create a critical approach to feminist concerns about the representation of female sexual agency and sex workers\u2019 rights through the lens of Femdom. I have exhibited my work extensively across the UK, Europe and Australia. <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have published several articles and pieces on art and culture and have been interviewed on the subject of censorship on British and Spanish media such as EREMUAK Culture Journal, The Independent, The Guardian, Bizarre Magazine, Forum, La Vanguardia, El Pais and Russia Today. I live and work in London.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/div>
